Moixa recognised in Global Cleantech 100 for second year running!

2019 was an exciting year for Moixa. Filled with new partnerships, projects, rapid growth and international expansion. That’s one of the reasons why we are so proud that our work has been recognised on the 2020 Global Cleantech 100 list for the second year running.

In total, more than 8,000 companies from more than 80 countries were nominated for this year’s Global Cleantech 100. Nominees were reviewed by the Cleantech Group’s Expert Panel who chose the private companies best positioned to solve the future’s cleantech challenges and make an impact on the market.

There are only six UK companies recognised on the list, so it is an amazing achievement to have been included for a second time.

At Moixa, we believe that by raising the IQ of batteries using our GridShare Software, we can help the world live in a future powered by renewable energy.

UK smart technology firm Moixa is managing smart batteries in more than 10,000 homes across Japan, the firm announced today, building on the success of last year’s rollout of its GridShare artificial intelligence platform in the country.

Moixa in Ireland: Our partnership with Energia

In October our vision to support a world powered by renewable energy got a little closer, as we entered into a partnership with Energia. The partnership took our technology into the Irish market and supported Energia in leading the way to develop a smarter, renewable-energy system in Ireland. 

Business Green: Moixa wins contract with UK Power Networks Contract

In 2019, Moixa won a contract with UK Power Networks (UKPN) in one of the country’s first deals, to provide energy capacity to the local electricity network from home energy storage in Sussex.
