How we are supporting our community
At Moixa, we are passionate about making a meaningful and positive impact not only on the planet but also on our community. There are so many important causes out there, and we want to do as much as we can to support them and further their mission.
If supporting our community can also be combined with improving our team’s physical and mental wellbeing and help us live a healthier life, that’s even better!

Moixa Running Club to raise money for charity
We set up Moixa Running Club because we wanted to create a group that helped the Moixa team raise money for charity, stay connected whilst working from different parts of the world, and benefit everyone’s mental and physical health. Everyone is encouraged to share their running activity with the group, and the company offers money incentives that allow the team to run and raise money for charity.
As our nominated charity, we chose to support ClientEarth, whose work is very closely aligned with Moixa’s purpose. ClientEarth focuses on using the power of law to protect life on earth. The charity works in partnership across borders, systems and sectors, ingeniously using the law to bring about end-to-end systemic change: informing and implementing the law, advising decision-makers on policy, and training legal and judicial professionals.
The group is now 23 members strong, and in the last year, the runners have conquered over 3100 miles in total.
Last Sunday, our Commercial Manager Natasha, a member of the Running Club, participated in the Brighton Marathon, an unforgettable experience in the beautiful city of Brighton & Hove. She commented: “My first marathon and possibly not my last! It was a perfect sunny day in Brighton which cheered on both runners and supporters, and of course, it was super inspiring to see so many runners raising money for some fantastic charities. Delighted that Moixa has been donating to ClientEarth for every mile of my training runs.”
If you’d like to donate to ClientEarth, you can do it here. All donations will make a difference and go towards creating a better world.
Tough Mudder 2022: working as a team to support the community
On May 21st, a group of brave Moixa employees will be running in Tough Mudder 2022, taking place at Culden Faw, Fawley. Tough Mudder is an obstacle and mud run without the pressure of competition and timing.
With a mix of mental and physical challenges new and old, Tough Mudder is a perfect team-building exercise. All runners are helping each other along the 30 obstacle course, and there is no one left behind.
Moixa’s runners will be wading through mud and braving the elements, all in aid of our nominated charity, ClimateEarth, supporting the donations gathered by Moixa Running Club. Interested in taking part? See all Tough Mudder events here.
WellBoxes to support wellbeing and mental health
Teaming up with UK-based gift company WellBox, Moixa’s lovely People’s team often sends amazing WellBoxes full of goodies to all employees, from hampers and healthy snacks to health and mental wellbeing gifts.
Apart from receiving a small token of appreciation that goes a long way towards boosting the team’s morale and wellbeing, this is also a great way to support the community.
Partnering with mental health charity Mind, WellBox has created a business model where everyone can benefit: for each WellBox sold, the company makes a £1 donation to Mind on our behalf.
The main focus of Mind is to provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. They are constantly campaigning to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding, to ensure that everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets support and respect. If you are interested in knowing more about Mind and making a donation, have a look at their website.
Having the chance to make a positive impact on the planet and the people around them is one of the things that sets Moixa apart from other companies.
